Since childhood, I grew up surrounded by the wisdom of natural medicine and ancestral traditions. In my family, the practice of limpias – energetic cleansings – was more than just ritual, it was a way to restore harmony and balance when life felt heavy or stagnant. Today, I bring this sacred practice into my wellness space, blending it with therapeutic massage to create a deeply transformative experience for those seeking renewal.
A limpia is more than a cleansing, it is a release. It is a moment of letting go of what no longer serves us, energetically and physically, and inviting in clarity, lightness, and vitality. To support this process, I incorporate powerful plants and elements that have been used for generations in Mexico and beyond.
Ruda (Rue): Known as a plant of protection, ruda helps break away negative energy, envy, and blockages that can weigh heavily on our spirit.
Romero (Rosemary): A herb of strength and clarity, romero refreshes the mind, sharpens intuition, and supports circulation in the body.
Albaca (Basil): Sacred in many traditions, albaca brings blessings, peace, and attracts positive vibrations, creating an environment of serenity and joy.
Copal Smoke: Considered a bridge to the divine, copal smoke purifies the energy field, uplifts the spirit, and deepens the ritual aspect of the limpia.
During this session, I begin with the traditional limpia, sweeping these herbs across the body and inviting their energy to cleanse and uplift. The smoke of copal completes the ritual, offering purification and grounding. Following this, I incorporate a therapeutic massage to release tension, relax the nervous system, and allow the body to integrate the healing on a deeper level.
This unique combination of ancestral limpia and massage is a powerful way to support not only your physical well-being but also your energetic and emotional balance. It is ideal when you are feeling stuck, carrying stress, or in need of spiritual renewal.
In every session, my intention is to hold a sacred space for you to reconnect with yourself – to feel lighter, calmer, and more aligned. This is not just bodywork, it is a ritual of remembering and honoring the ancient traditions that continue to guide us today.
